Our Services
We work heavily with complex mental health issues and a Care Plan from Social Services.
We provide around the clock monitoring and supervision as some of our residents require this type of support due to their sometimes complex mental health conditions and, currently in-place, care plans.
We strive to give our service users the support and stability they need to acquire new skills and patterns of behaviour to steadily ready them for independent living.
We also help people to identify and access appropriate move-on accommodation and offer resettlement advice to offenders, their families and practitioners through our helpline.
We work with many different types of individuals: single people, vulnerable men, young people, offenders and those at risk of offending, to name but a few.
Many people will have more than one need (e.g. they might be dependent on drugs and being homeless). Unless these issues are dealt with, they are unlikely to achieve sustainable and successful transformation in their lives. At Contix, we do more than just house people: we provide support, we teach, we advise, we challenge behaviour, and we connect people with any additional support they need to tackle other issues in their lives.
We equip each individual with the skills, attitude and self-belief they need to live a successful independent life in the local community. We encourage those using our services to think and act for themselves. We offer many opportunities for service user involvement, including the chance to train as a peer mentor.
We’re also developing housing products designed to give our residents a place in a long-term stable home. But most importantly, we encourage people to engage with the local community so that they build confidence in themselves and the environment in which they will live and ultimately contribute in the future. We are committed to transforming people’s lives and transforming outcomes for our local communities.
