People who depend on alcohol or drugs, people with mental health issues or who have been diagnosed with autism/ learning disabilities are often vulnerable to getting in trouble with the law. It has also been reported that extreme discrimination is experienced by them whilst passing through the Criminal Justice System. These people’s individual’s health and social care needs are often ignored as they are perceived as ‘difficult cases’.

There is currently very little support available to enable these individuals to reintegrate back into the local community, rehabilitate or prevent further re-offending behaviour, and this is where Contix can help.

At Contix, we are proud to say that we can offer much-needed help and support to people who experience complex difficulties with their mental health or other social behaviour issues. We do this by providing them tailored support regimes to receive medical care and support that is either urgent and ongoing.

Our main success with these people is, giving them a home and supporting them to become independent.
